My Deconstruction series focuses on buildings that are torn down or burned. In cities, destruction precedes construction. It peels back the carefully-built structures. It reveals tangled insides that are normally unseen. Removed walls expose shapes and frames that have their own beauty. These provocative scenes are fertile for photography. In this work and others projects I enjoy exploring themes of creativity and mortality.
